Dhilal Alhaboob currently studies international development and globalization at the University of Ottawa and her work revolves around community building. She runs the organization WaterFor, which has just completed a water distribution campaign in Yemen and raises awareness on the subject of water scarcity. Ultimately, Dhilal’s interests lie in the power of stories to drive action. Stories inform the work she does on her campus, municipally, provincially and nationally to contribute to a generation of empowered and civically engaged young people.
